Silver Springs is a somewhat short course. 3 par 5s, 6 par 3s. You are going over water in several holes, however, unless you shank one, not an issue. No driving range, so loosen up before you get there.

Staff is excellent. The PGA pro is extremely nice. She lets you know what is going on and where to same on the path. Price is a little higher than other courses around the area, but reasonable.

You open with 2 of the 3 easiest holes on the course. #4 is a challenging par 5. You really need two well placed shot to get in position. #5 was a nice challenge with back left pin placement. The green is slightly elevated and protected in the front by a bunker. The front closes with 4 par 4s all under 400 yards.

#10 and #11 are challenging. #10 is a 200 yard par 3 but the green is super sloped, very tough to putt. #11 is straight down a hill. If you go long, you are in the water. #12 is probably the easiest of these 3 par 3s in a row. #14 is the hole you see as you ride by on Sample Bridge Road. #15 is a nice open par 5. #18 is my favorite hole. You need to drive about halfway up the hill, then take your approach shot and you can't see the green. Nothing like riding up to see your ball hung on. Very nice way to end the round.

The last time I played the course, it was a little dry and the tee boxes were super tough. This last time we had just gotten a little rain and I thought the course was great. My friend and I were both impressed with the greens. They played very true and were nicely manicured.

Sometimes there were a lot of gnats flying around, might want to take some bug spray. Definitely not a course to walk, lots of hills. Also, some of the holes are hard to find if you aren't use to playing there. Hopefully, they will mark them better in the future.

I usually only go out 3 or 4 times a summer, but it's not that bad of a course. The course sort of long and has several paths between courses that are long. Overall not bad though

This is a great course to go out and play with your friends. It is usually in decent condition, but it is not one of the more challenging courses in the area. There is water, woods, sand, and rough to challenge golfers to hit accurate shots. Also they have a putting green and driving range. I would rate this course a 7 out of 10.

This course isnt the most challenging but can a lot of fun to play. It is a links course with thick rough and a lot of sand and hills. The back nine much tougher than the front and has some interesting holes. Mayapple has a great driving range and putting green. I would rate the course a 6.5 out of 10.

Range End is a nice course for a golfer of any level. Keep the ball straight or you'll find yourself getting an 8. I always found the grass to be nice and damp for a smooth shot. There is some water on the course which makes a couple holes extra challenging. I'd give Range End a 7.5 out of 10.
